Reuter: Impact WR/TE prospects According to the report, the Vikings hosted Simpson in the Minneapolis area for a meeting and a physical Saturday, with plans for him to stay until Sunday. Simpson is continuing to draw interest from teams despite receiving a sentence of 15 days in jail and three years of probation earlier this month as the result of a felony drug-related charge.

Prior to the 2011 season, the Minnesota Vikings signed defensive tackle Remi Ayodele with the idea that he could fill the void that Pat Williams left behind. Instead, Ayodele turned out to be ineffective and a horrible fit for the Vikings ‘ defense.
